For US Backers, Gamerati sent out remaining orders from Wave 1 on July 31. If you still haven’t received your package or tracking number (from Gamerati), then please reach out to [email protected] for assistance. Please note that if you fixed a credit card issue after July 7th, we will be sending your package as part of Wave 2 next week.
For Canadian Backers, Pick & Pack began sending out orders this week and expects to wrap up orders early next week.
Australia/NZ | AetherWorks - All stock is in the warehouse and they will start fulfillment on Aug 7, expecting to wrap up by Aug 14.
Europe/RoW | Gamesquest - Currently expected to land at port on August 8 (changed from Aug 6). Still on the water as of today.
Asia/Saudi Arabia | VFI Asia - VFI Asia has a handy website that you will be able to check for the latest information: https://vfi.asia/hubs/ We expect Kinfire Chronicles shipping status to be added to VFI’s tracker next week.
Digital Content:
Digital map packs were delivered on Monday 31 Jul, through BackerKit's digital file delivery. We had to send these out in two zipped folders because it was so large. One set are printable PDFs for in-person play and the other set are JPGs that you can use in your favorite platform. If you haven't received yours, please reach out to [email protected].
Audio Narration has already gone out! If you ordered an upgrade kit (premium pledge level) then your code is printed on a business-card-sized paper inside your upgrade kit. If you purchased it as an add on, you would have received the code digitally through BackerKit's digital file delivery service. If you are having an issue in the app itself, you can email [email protected] and include the name of the game, your email address connected to your Forteller account, and the redemption code you received.
Important Notes:
If you closed your survey or changed your information after July 7, please make sure you have reached out to [email protected]. We are tracking & handling these orders manually as Wave 2, since the data came in after we locked our backer lists. We are working with fulfillment partners now to start scheduling shipment.
We’re providing estimates on when fulfillment partners will start to send out tracking numbers in your region. Please check your inboxes (including spam folders) for shipment notices with tracking information. Tracking information will usually come from the fulfillment center (e.g. Gamerati, GamesQuest, VFI Asia).

Exciting news.....
We’ve been selling out of the game within minutes of opening our booth!!!
It’s been amazing to see lines around our booth and all the excitement coming by throughout the day. This wouldn’t have been possible without your backing – thank you so much!
Where can you find us? We’re sharing a booth with Forteller at #2345 (along the back wall of the exhibit hall).
Today, we had Xin at our booth, signing some gorgeous art prints (with gold foil) for the webcomic. We plan to make a limited number of these signed art prints available on our store (kinfirechronicles.com) in the future.
Words can't do justice to how beautiful these prints are!
Tomorrow at 11am ET, Sungwon Cho (“ProZD”) will be at our booth signing autographs.

Listing here some resources that may be helpful to you:
Plastic Axles: Some of you have shared that you’re experiencing issues getting the plastic axles (for the health dials) to snap together securely. At the moment, the best fix we have available is to insert a small square of tissue paper between the two sides of the axle before you snap them together. You can even also a small piece of the film from the acrylic standees if you don’t have tissue paper on hand. We’re reviewing the Axles with our manufacturer to figure out if there are other fixes available.
Errata: Some of you have helped us identify bugs that have managed to make their way into print! Thank you for helping us find those. We started a forum thread on BGG to track and communicate these as they’re found: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3127628/kinfire-chronicles-errata. If you catch any more, please let us know! Your help is appreciated. We plan to publish an official errata list on a regular basis (perhaps monthly). For the latest, you can bookmark this forum thread.

Demo the game now? For those of you waiting for your games to arrive, you can get a head start on learning the rules with our Tabletopia Kinfire Demo: https://tabletopia.com/games/kinfire-chronicles. The Demo features the first 2 quests of the game and the town of Vinna, which will teach you the core basics of the game. Rulebooks are incorporated, virtually on the table, so you can refer to them as you play.
New to teaching games? I wanted to share one of my personal go-tos on learning how to teach board games: SU&SD’s How To Teach Board Games Like a Pro video. Although Kinfire Chronicles is designed to be playable within 15 minutes of opening the box, Quinn has some great tips for empathizing with your table and helping ensure folks have a great time learning any game.

USA/Canada | Gamerati (US) and Pick & Pack (CA) - UPS reached a tentative agreement with teamster-represented employees and it seems the strike has been averted!
For US Backers, Gamerati is wrapping up fulfillment by EOD today! You should have received your tracking information by now (or will in the next 24 hours).
For Canadian Backers, Pick & Pack sent out final address verification emails earlier this week (no need to respond if your address is accurate). Otherwise, we expect everything shipped out by Aug 3 and believe we’re still on track.
Australia/NZ | AetherWorks - Container was delivered to AetherWorks on July 20. We are in the process of confirming shipping estimates and will update you next week with the latest timelines.

USA/Canada | Gamerati (US) and Pick & Pack (CA) - The UPS strike remains a possibility. This article on Forbes about the strike covers some facts about what is happening and could happen. We won’t know until the two sides convene on July 31.
For US Backers, containers all arrived at Gamerati on July 17. Gamerati expects most packages will be sent out by close of business on Friday, July 28 and stragglers out by Monday July 31. We checked in with Gamerati about UPS mitigation and they assured us they doing their best to ship as fast as they can.
For Canadian Backers, Pick & Pack picked up from Gamerati and the goods are expected to arrive in their fulfillment center on July 26. We expect everything shipped out by Aug 3.
Australia/NZ | AetherWorks - Container was delivered to AetherWorks on July 20. We will follow up with them to check on timing for when packages will start to be shipped to backers.
Europe/RoW | Gamesquest - Container’s on the water, expected to land at port on August 6 (changed from Aug 3).

02. AUDIO NARRATION UPDATE
The Kinfire audio narration, produced by Forteller Games, is wrapping up and we expect it to be fully ready for an official launch next week (Jul 27).
If you purchased the premium upgrade kit, your Forteller redemption code will be inside the upgrade kit box– printed on a scratch off card.
If you purchased Forteller as an Add on you will receive an email from Backerkit with your redemption code.
Some folks will receive their codes ahead of July 27, so we decided to make the narration available in an early access state. If you’re one of those lucky people, we would appreciate your feedback to help us make this the best it can be! We’re proud of the work & collaboration that went into it.
If you need help with the Forteller app, please email them directly at [email protected]. Include the name of the game, your email address connected to your Forteller account, and the redemption code you received.
03. DIGITAL MAP BOOK UPDATE
The Digital Map book is in progress, and ETA on delivering this is by July 31, 2023.
You can expect to receive a folder of JPGs that are ready to use in your favorite online platform, as well as a folder of individual PDFs that you can print out to play at home.
Knowing that many of you are TTRPG players, we wanted to go the extra mile and deliver the digital mapbook in VTT format as well as a printable version for in-person play.
We’re working with a member of 2minutetabletop.com to get this right.
This is a layered PDF with different grid options available on separate layers. To do that in adobe acrobat, go to View >> Show/Hide >> Navigation Panes >> Layers.
We plan to send instructions out with the final delivery. If any of you have a moment to check it out and provide feedback, please do!

Containers arrived on time (July 9) at port and passed US customs.
Containers are expected to arrive on July 19 at Gamerati, who’s committed to get all orders out to backers as quickly as possible (as soon as Jul 21-24 and July 31 at the latest).
For Canadian Backers, Pick & Pack will ship everything within 15 days after Gamerati sends them the games.
Australia/NZ | AetherWorks - Container expected to arrive June 15 (changed from June 13).
Europe/RoW | Gamesquest - Containers on water, expected to land at port on August 3.

Game demos! All of our Kinfire Chronicles game demo events are already sold out (that’s okay, you’re about to own the whole thing), but we still have some spots left for you to try out Kinfire Delve - a standalone, co-operative card game set in the Kinfire universe. Sign up soon before the events are all sold out!
The Incredible Dream Team is going in full force to Gen Con, so keep an eye out for all of us. We’ll have Risa and ahj00ma at the booth, our story editor Cathy at the demos, and 2 new folks that just joined our team!
If you’re a frequent Kickstarter backer, you’ve probably talked to Matt before; he’s worked on campaigns for Brotherwise Games, Kolossal, Matagot and more. Matt has joined our team as our Customer Service expert, and you might have already been getting questions answered by him. We’re absolutely thrilled to have him on the team, and he’ll be all over the place at Gen Con, but hopefully you’ll get a chance to catch him and say hi.
We just announced on social media yesterday that we have a brand-new Social Media and Community Manager: Ilya Ushakov!
